…And then the noise stopped, the lights
went off, and there was a stampede of people, rushing to get out of the
building; it was a fine hotel, almost five stars: there were at least one
million, mystic, mosaics decorating the facade.
When everyone evacuated out of the hotel,
there was a peculiar man who looked as if he didn’t care about what had
happened, no one saw him, he was like a sanctimonious, slithering, serpent, and
a professional saboteur.
While I was in my plane going back to
London, I couldn't stop thinking of that man, why did he do that?
What an interesting way to interpret the prompt, Kalzang. I liked how you had the sound stop right at the beginning, and then told about what happened next. Good words to describe the man -- 'sanctimonious, slithering serpent.' Yes, the reader too is left wondering why the man did this.
