100 Word Challenge Kalzang

We were out of breath when we arrived at the van; the man was still watching us never leaving sight of us. We stayed in the van for about two hours until we heard a crack, there was a silence, crack , it went again we stared at the window the man was not there anymore!  Crack,  in front of us, there he was glaring as if he were dead and no feelings; suddenly the man fell like nothing happened, we hurried out of the van, the man had disappeared,  we could just see blood stains tracking towards  the forest

100 Word Challenge Week 13 Eesha

“No, it can’t be true”, I yelped!  My friend grabbed me by the hand, terrified. “What’s going on, and who’s that demon?” she shrilled. “The demon is actually an insane scientist, who died while testing an experiment; and he has just arisen up from his grave.” There was nobody around us; it was only us and him. The only things were a wooden rusty bench; and I just saw something move? A human... the demon twisted round and stared hard at the young man, the demon had bit into the man with his sharpened razor like teeth. The poor young man had just turned into the nastiest creature on earth. It is the end of the world.

Week 13 100 Word Challenge Yuina

We were dashing as fast as we could.  The sky turned darker and darker.  Tap, tap, tap, suddenly a sound came.  It seemed like someone was coming.  Immediately, we turned around.  What did we see?

There was an enormous man, who was staring from the window above.  Now he is grinning at us with a terrible, offensive face.
“What are you doing in here!” he shouted until our ears hurt.  We had no idea what to say…

Just that we were spying on the woman who was in the house.  We stared at each other as if the time had stopped.

100 Word Challenge Yanni

It was the 11th of November, 2013. My family was in the living room being silent at 11:00 o’clock. After that, I ran quickly to my bedroom and cried painfully in my stuffed pillow. My dad came into my room without knocking. What happened Tom?

"It’s that so many people died because of the stupid WW!”. Dad calmed me down and explained;” remembering the war and feeling sorry for the troops that lost their lives is amazing you know, but they don’t want you to be sad; they gave their lives so that you would have a happy future”

100 Word Challenge Eesha Week 11

I can’t even believe myself; I woke before the sun rose! I hopped, bare footed down the stairs. On the table there were plates, glasses and eating utensils already laid out for lunch .I apologize to you, I actually woke up just in time for lunch. It was such a *hic* beautiful *hic* day. Oh no, I have the hiccups, usually if you have hiccups someone is remembering you. So who is remembering me? I wonder if the soldiers lying under the glorious carpets of blood-red poppies ask the same question.  We should never need to have the hiccups to remember them…

100 Word Challenge Kalzang Week 11

Remembering

“I found myself laying on a field of flamboyant poppies; traumatized by the sound of war, the screeching of the bullets soaring out of the atrocious guns, held by comrades that had once been peaceful and calm as the soft wind breeze. I laid there utterly still, picturing what had once been a soothed part of me.”

“The guns, the bullets’ cartridges and the swords were scattered on the grass moistened by gore, most of our soldiers lifeless on the floor. It was a real relief when we heard that the war had ceased: awaited peace was back again!”

100 Word Challenge Sara Week 11

“Ok mum bye I’m leaving “I said getting in to the car. We drove past the fruit shop past the park out of the village. Through the fields which covered most of the county.  It was only a half-hour drive but it seems like a good deal longer.  When we arrived at the horse club Stephanie and Lucy were already there brushing their horses.
The entire group acquired their horses and trotted off into the woods. Till we got the poppies field where suddenly I saw … an army truck… and remembered the soldiers that had fought here for our country.

100 Word Challenge Maria Week 11

                                                 ...Remembering…
Let me remember…
Of a story,
Of a quest,
I was thinking once,
On a tree,
Is there a person who will understand me?

With the answer that came up,
I was sad,
Birds were singing,
Flowers were growing,
On that perfect summer day,
Everything was clear and bright,
But my heart sank,
It was sad,
It was bad!

I was sitting on a tree,
I decide to drink a cup of tea,

Everyone should have his own,
Little house,
But I had one beyond the trees,
With birds singing,
And squirrels jumping!

100 Word Challenge Yuina Week 11

I was 7 when the War ended.  I couldn’t think of anything to do…  I was just sitting quietly, looking at the sky.  Thinking, what will I do in the future?

One day, I read a famous comic.  This turned my life interesting!  The more and more I read, the more amusing feelings I got.  When I was 14, I decided to be cartoonist.  Studying was hard; I failed, though I didn’t give up.  After all, I was 27, when I became cartoonist.  Even today I’m trying.  Remembering the day when I was lonely,  and now… I am living a wonderful life!

Week 10 Gabriel 100 Word Challenge

Grandma Betty looked at her husband and he looked at her.  She stuffed the key in her knickers, and hopped on her mobility scooter.  As rapid as the ants in your backyard, she ‘whirr-rr-rr-rr-ed down the hall.  She heard the angry ‘Clunk-clunk’ of Granddad Blue Wheels’ scooter.  She ‘whirr-rr-rr-rr-ed in and out of her bedroom, stuffing a lipstick into her handbag…

The janitor was shocked to see Grandma and Granddad ZOOM   down the condominium stairs.  They tore outside and Grandma Betty dove into the pond with her boots on.  Granddad whipped out his phone just in time to take a picture.

Week 10 Maria 100 Word Challenge

It’s raining, it’s hailing,
It’s raining all night!
And now I need to go out,
And play with my cat!

I got out of my house
And I see,
That my cat stopped liking me!
I cried a lot like a baby!
For nothing, for nothing!

There were puddles all around,
“Bring boots!” said the cat.
For me and you,
To stamp our feet in puddles too!

I brought the boots,
And I stepped in one,
Little, dark and shiny,
It was wet,
But I didn’t care,
The thing is I was having fun!

Week 10 Eesha 100 Word Challenge

“Fashion, Fashion and Fashion”, that’s all I care about.  Oh hi! Nice to meet you; I am a normal teenager with a wacky family. My mum is a rubbish lawyer, and my dad seems to be working in a toothpaste factory; my bigger sister is always locked in her room.
Anyway, somehow my mum persuaded me to go out and splash in the water with my new pair of boots. They turned out to be waterproof -it seems like I really had fun( not).

For your information, to me, that was a nightmare (playing in the rain and getting all my manicure wet).

Week 9 Swarna 100 Word Challenge

The violent storm was terrible.  It blew down all the houses in the village. Everyone was poor. Everyone lived in the streets with no food; they lived with sickness, everyone except - the landlord.  The landlord was a miser; he wouldn't pay his taxes!

He had slaves and of course, he wouldn't pay their wages. He didn't have any generosity in his heart; he was cruel to poor beggars.

One day, a theft happened in the landlord's villa. He was shocked and rushed to the King. The King said, "sorry, but I don't have any money now!" The landlord was speechless.  Now, he's an honest man.

Now you must be thinking what the big deal is if trees are shaking, let’s make the connection, if you try to see it the other way, if trees fall down they could hit people, smash schools and destroy the whole city. Hopefully you see the connection. So basically to stop trees falling down, what could we do? I give you 2 minutes to think. Call me at 09876543210 and tell me what you think.

Week 9 Sara 100 Word Challenge

The troubling noise came again, the deep, rolling sound of a storm.  The wind rushed past the window of the reception room where I was sitting. I was not surprised, the violent storm was coming. It was freezing outside; the dog must have come in, but I wanted to check myself, to make sure.

I opened the door, a powerful current of air pushed through the room! I managed to stay upright, I stared around the garden, but it was no use, I could not see a thing.  I quickly grabbed a torch and walked outside; my dog was nowhere…
