BISB 100 Word Challenge Ishita

MEMORABLE  JOURNEY

Seat  number 7. This is the seat on which I will have to sit for 2 hours of a tedious journey. Cigarette smoke rings, loquacious women plus babies crying was my present surrounding. Dad booked the seats at the last moment so we, unfortunately, got seats seven seas apart.

"Hello passengers," The conductor's voice was ice cold. "I assure you this will be a comically memorable journey". Weird, I thought.  Just as the train entered the tunnel; darkness and eeriness took over. Light returned, and what do I see... Ashes! EVERYONE is gone! "Ha, ha, ha," The conductors voice crackled. "A comically memorable journey indeed."

A flash of a lightning, hand shape, hit my forehead and everything was a blur; my eyes started to close and I knew that this was the end of capturing that monster and finding out what it wanted… or so I thought. When I recovered my senses back I saw enormous footprints that were leading to a mountain.

100 Word Challenge Ishika

I staggered back and forth, side to side, struggling to stay on my feet, as the wind shoved and tugged at me fiercely, hunting me like a beast. My heart was beating incredibly fast and banging against my ribs. I held on to the side railings, desperately trying not to fly of the bridge. Something moved in the passage  of me. Something quick and scuttling like a rat. Suddenly a gush of wind pushed me off the bridge. I tried to hold on with my hand. Just as my fingers were slipping off the railing, something caught my hand...
