BISB 100 Word Challenge Ishika

The rain was a steady downpour of tears, crashing to earth and spreading damp darkness. Rose kept on running. She had no choice, if she didn’t reach the cottage before sunset, she would disappear. Her heart was racing; Rose feared that she wouldn’t get there in time. The sun was setting and she could feel her bitter tears rolling down her pale cheeks. It was too late. The sun had set and the cottage was still miles away. She came to a halt. Just then, she saw an amazing shooting star. The light was so bright that it blinded her.

  1. Very good, Ishika. This is a very well crafted, descriptive piece of writing. The reason for the character's fear is unclear which makes it engaging the reader.
    Well done!
