Some dreams are dangerous.
The birds swooped down and rushed back up again forming an unusual egg-shaped oval. Someone shouted “Get out of
the way you’re standing beneath the birds!" I had no idea who he
was but he said what he wanted to say, now it’s my turn "Who do you
think you are talking to me like that, eh,
what’s the problem with standing underneath some birds?" Without
warning something splattered on my face, and then again. Adding more to the problem a red cow came up
and said in the worst accent possible "What are you
doing?"
Huhhhh!
ReplyDeleteNice entry for the 100WC, DUDE
thanx daddy-o
ReplyDeleteReally nice entry Zain - I really enjoyed the title too, it really adds to the suspense. This story sounds like the start of a very interesting dream! I especially like the way you create a picture of the action with words like 'swooped' and 'rushed' and the use of dialogue made it very engaging.
ReplyDeleteJust be careful of changing tenses from past to present - 'he said he wanted to say, now it was my turn.' Otherwise, excellent!
