Music was in the
air…everyone dancing to the pop melodies. All the youngsters were happy. People
grooved into a dance.
Her name was Angelica and
she loved violet so she got her room painted violet.
The attractive backdrop had posters of the latest band ‘The Fliers’ on it.
After a while her mom came in with vibrantly coloured drinks. All that
singing and dancing made people gulp down a drink or two. Everyone now awaited a foodilicious
announcement.
“D..INN..ER IS RE…ADY” with a lag. A shrill screech followed…the noise
was deafening.
What a pity, a groovy night destroyed instantly.
This piece of writing almost had me dancing around the room! I really like the vocabulary that you chose 'groovy', 'vibrantly and 'violet'. Superb, atmospheric and amusing.
